LOS ANGELES -- When LL Cool J heard about Kanye West possibly reheating his beef with Taylor Swift on Thursday, he let out a laugh that lasted at least 30 seconds.

Then the host of Monday night's Grammy Awards had a suggestion:

"I say we just let it all fall," he told Mashable in a pre-Grammys chat Thursday. "Let's just get everybody in the Grammys room and figure it out [more laughing]."

It isn't certain yet whether West will be in attendance Monday, but Swift will. And should they happen to appear together at any point, the odds of them as happy as they did at last year's Grammys ...

... have just been severely diminished.

When West debuted his seventh studio album, The Life of Pablo, on Thursday at Madison Square Garden, he raised Twitter eyebrows everywhere with one line: "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / I made that bitch famous."

Swift and Kanye West have had an awkward-at-the-very-best relationship ever since Kanye interrupted her while she was accepting the Video of the Year award at the 2009 VMAs. The question remains: Will they be able to kiss and make up like they did at the 2015 Grammys?

LL Cool J thinks it'll be cooler if they did.

"There's nowhere like the Grammys stage to figure it out," he said.
