Kanye West doesn't just drop the mic. He throws it in the air.
The rapper did just that during a closing ceremony performance at the Pan American Games in Toronto on Sunday. After his mic kept cutting out (among other experiencing technical issues), Yeezy tossed it in the air and strolled offstage after a 13-minute performance.

That's one way to close a show.

West abruptly wrapped the show during a performance of "Good Life." Organizers of the Pan Am Games say that the rapper's team had control of the lights and audio of his show.
His performance cruised through a medley of hits, including "Touch the Sky," "Power," "Stronger" and "Black Skinhead." West performed on a bare stage with a single spotlight, before demanding all the lights in the stadium get turned way up.

Prior to his performance, about 50,000 people signed a petition to keep West from closing out the Games. But, just like his Glastonbury performance, it looks like no petition can tell Yeezus what to do.
