In 86-Tweet Dispatch, @KanyeWest Says New Company Will 'Pick Up Where Steve Jobs Left Off' [PICS]

Countless eyeballs were aimed at hip-hop superstar Kanye West's Twitter account late Wednesday night and early this morning as he entertainingly penned 86 tweets. In them, he discussed fashion, his late mother and his new company that will "pick up where Steve Jobs left off."

The tweets revealed intimate details to his fans and curious observers, who collectively turned "DONDA" into a trending topic on Twitter. One tweet announced that his new company is called DONDA -- named after his mom who died in 2007 after cosmetic surgery.

Some Twitter users found his revelations inspiring while others questioned whether West was intoxicated or on drugs. Midway through his story time that started around 11 p.m. ET, West paused to address his fast-paced tweeting, saying "This is just a train of thought .. but figure it's better to read than trained thoughts."

At one point, West told fans to email [email protected] "if anyone would like to reach out." This came after he said he wanted to assemble "a team of architects, graphic designers, directors musicians, producers, AnRs, writers, publicist, social media experts ... app guys, managers, car designers, clothing designers, DJs, video game designers, publishers, tech guys, lawyers, bankers, nutritionist ... doctors, scientist, teachers."

In March, Charlie Sheen also famously sought talent via a tweet in which he wrote, "I’m looking to hire a #winning INTERN with #TigerBlood. Apply here – http://bit.ly/hykQQF #TigerBloodIntern #internship #ad."

Before West's tweets ended Thursday between 2 or 3 a.m., Mashable asked Twitter users who emailed him to email us. Here's what two of the respondents told us:

Jonathon Youshaei, business student: "I love Kanye and thought his Twitter stream tonight was amazing. I essentially emailed him asking if they would potentially have any student internships open, but let me know if you would like more details. Ironically, my entire school is about to be bombarded with recruiting information sessions from investment banks so I guess Kanye is getting a head start here!"

Janelle Benjamin-Simms, writer: "I totally drank the Kanye kool-aid tonight and emailed him. I'm curious to see if DONDA is a fleeting idea, or if he's ready to make it a reality. Or if he's revealing his drug of choice for 2012. Either way, I had to email him."

West's tweets also discussed fashion, fame, his late mother, the Grammys, his undercover work at Fendi and even a Matrix reference.
