Kaspersky’s Son Missing, Possibly Kidnapped [REPORT]

According to the reports, Ivan Kaspersky, a student of mathematics and cybernetics at Moscow State University, has been missing since Tuesday, and the police as well as the Russian secret service have been looking for him since.

Russian media outlet Lifenews claims Ivan Kaspersky has been kidnapped, with the kidnappers seeking a $4.3 million ransom.

A spokesman for Kaspersky Lab refused to comment.

Kaspersky Lab is a private company headquartered in Moscow, Russia. It offers anti-virus, anti-spyware, anti-spam, and anti-intrusion software products. The company employs more than 2,300 people; it reported more than $500 million in revenue in 2010.
