When Kate McKinnon stopped by Ellen DeGeneres' daytime talk show on Wednesday, she couldn't pass up the opportunity to break out her Saturday Night Live-honed impression of the effervescent host.

McKinnon crashed DeGeneres' opening monologue in an identical outfit, then took over with the definitive declaration, "I'm Ellen." She shared a silly anecdote about Ellen and wife Portia de Rossi adopting baby goats and at least one horse before the real DeGeneres stepped in for dance time.
