We all really should hate Kate Winslet. She's elegant, talented, successful and has a wicked sense of humor. It isn't fair.
But then she'll stick the Best Actress Oscar she took home for The Reader in her bathroom -- just to mess with people -- and we'll be eternally grateful for her existence all over again.

Winslet told Wall Street Journal about the motivation behind that particular home decor choice.
"The whole point is for everybody to pick it up and go, 'I'd like to thank my son and my dad' -- and you can always tell when someone has, because they're in there a little bit longer after they flushed," said Winslet told WSJ. Magazine. "They'll come out looking slightly pink-cheeked. It's hysterical."
So keep that in mind next time you're having dinner at the Winslet residence.
