We already knew that Kendrick Lamar feels a deep connection to Compton hip-hop pioneers N.W.A. -- "Anything that I do, at all, has come from what y’all done," Lamar told the group in a recent interview -- and now he's set to induct the hip-hop legends into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, DJ Yella, Eazy-E and MC Ren will be inducted in a ceremony on April 8 from Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Cheap Trick, Chicago, Deep Purple, and Steve Miller will also be inducted.
