The Kenyan society has become dependent on cell phones for business and banking. A charged phone has become essential to its way of life. However, only a quarter of the population has access to electricity, so people are forced to walk for miles to charge their phones at charging stations. A group called Eco Manyatta Afrika has given one family a solar panel and battery to combat the current situation. [Video by Vignette Interactive, In association with ONE]
