If you feel yourself getting Hollywood sequel fatigue, fear not: Original movies are still out there, like the upcoming Keanu, from the minds and faces of Key & Peele.

Jordan Peele, who co-wrote the film's script with Alex Rubens, stars as a man who finds an adorable kitten on his doorstep after his girlfriend breaks up with him. Keegan-Michael Key plays his loyal best friend, who helps Peele investigate when the kitten, Keanu, goes missing.

When it turns out Keanu is in the custody of gangsters, the two friends go deep undercover, lying about their copacetic suburban life to fit in with the thugs and bring the cat home.

The trailer is full of signature Key & Peele absurdity, suggesting that the film will feel like a 90-minute iteration of one of their sketches (and/or a goofy parody of John Wick -- okay, so maybe the movie isn't totally original). It already has the sort of absurd premise that abounded on the duo's late Comedy Central show, and its stars are nothing if not able to totally commit to a bit.

Keanu arrives in theaters April 29.
