Is This Killer Squirrel Movie the Next 'Sharknado'?

If shark tornados weren't enough to haunt your nightmares, maybe rabid, face-eating squirrels will do the trick.

Timur Bekmambetov, who directed movies like Wanted and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, is raising funds for his newest movie pitch -- a film about killer squirrels.

According to Bleeding Cool, the story centers around a young man who returns home to uncover the mystery of his father's death. He encounters, among other problems, "an army of flesh-eating squirrels hellbent on destroying everything in their path."

The pre-production sales video doesn't reveal much of the plot, but does give you a taste of what a squirrel attack looks like and offers the tagline "Hold On to Your Nuts." Terrified yet?
