Nearly every photo released of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is brilliantly scrutinized by the media and Internet alike, and every so often, we get a gem.

Sometimes we get a glimpse of the Dear Leader's new haircut; other times, we see him in a lube factory or getting photobombed, which produce the best Photoshops the Internet is capable of.

This time, we have been gifted a fedora.

According to state-influenced Chinese news website Sina, Kim sported his new hat while touring a machinery factory on Sunday. The visit seemed to have gone well, but let's be honest: We care more about the hat.

"This signals the end of times for fashion," said Mashable's fashion reporter David Yi when he saw the photos. "Rarely can men pull off a fedora with ease. Case in point, Dear Leader Kim himself, who proves that you need a better wardrobe -- and not to mention, swag -- to make a fedora cool."

Kim has been known to wear cool hats before. Now, if only he would grow a thick, glorious neckbeard, transforming him into the basement troll of our dreams.
