Have you ever wondered what Kim Kardashian would wear in the northern reaches of Svalbard?

A new app can help with that. Created by New York media agency BRAVÒ, Kim.Guru lets you type in a random location around the world and shows you one outfit, out of 100 images, that Kim might wear given the local weather situation.

Kim may be able to dress appropriately in cities like Paris or New York, but let's see how she fares in some of the Earth's most remote locations.

Longyearbyen, Norway

Located in Svalbard in the high Norwegian arctic, Longyearbyen's temperatures are not to be trifled with. Case in point: It's summer and currently only 39.2 degrees Fahrenheit.

Seems like Kim could get away with athletic tights and a high necked sweater, though. Sneakers are also a good choice for not slipping over on all that permafrost.

Broken Hill, Australia

If Kim went to Broken Hill, a remote desert town more than 12 hours west of Sydney, she might be the first person to have ever worn a lace dress with visible black underwear in that particular location.

The app's suggestion seems vaguely temperature-appropriate, but she might have trouble walking through all that red sand in heels.

Hanga Roa, Easter Island

Black silk seems somewhat on point for a 67.8 degree Fahrenheit day in Hanga Roa, the capital of the remote Chilean province of Easter Island. Kim can take North West to see the mysterious large stone heads, known as moai, that scatter the island.

La Rinconada, Peru

La Rinconada in the Peruvian Andes is the highest town in the world, and is known for its harsh climes and the even harsher lives of its gold-mining inhabitants.

Kim K got this one right: Black fur on a rainy and chilly day on a mountain seems spot on. Also, kudos on wearing flats when you need to climb a glacier.

Iqaluit, Canada

The capital of the Canadian province of Nunavut, Iqaluit faced an unprecedented storm in early 2014 with winds so strong houses were upended.

Kim got lucky with the weather this time. A backless bodycon dress may work on a mid-summer day, but definitely not everyday. Also, it might be hard to outrun a polar bear in an outfit that streamlined.

What have we learnt? Kim does occasionally wear weather appropriate outfits your mom would be proud of.
