While Kleiner Perkins Caulfield & Byers may have mentioned that it was no longer interested in web 2.0 companies, the notable venture firm is still interested in the Internet. For a while now, Kleiner has been looking for a new partner, and Chi-Hua Chien is the new man. Kleiner's wooed him away from his associate position at Accel Partners, where he spearheaded several web-related initiatives including the funding of YuMe Networks among other deals, as a venture adviser.
