Klout announced several enhancements to its Perks program Wednesday, including an update to its iPhone app as well as a new Passbook card.

Perks on the site, which range from free products to early access to websites, are also now more catered to individual users.

Thanks to the KloutPass SDK made available a few weeks ago, you can also select some of the Perks you want to take advantage of, with deals based on your influence.

500px is the first company to take advantage of the KloutPass SDK. The company, which lets you buy and sell photographs, now offers discounts based on your Klout score. For instance, someone with a Klout score of 90 or above can get a 100% discount on a purchase from the site.

500px is the first to offer a deal with the new SDK, however, it is likely the first of many.

Now if you want to take advantage of a Klout Perk, you have to look no further than your smartphone.

With the iPhone app, Klout users are now notified when they have a Perk available to them via push notification, much like when their score goes up or down. From the iPhone app that user can then check out the details for the Perk they have been awarded and claim it all from the app on their phone.

A new Passbook card displays your name, Klout score, and a scannable QR code that can be used to take advantage of Klout deals at local businesses.

A wait-list has also been added for Perks, so if you try to claim a Perk after it’s already full you can sign up to potentially take advantage if a spot becomes available.

In August, Klout pushed out updated scores for all of its users as well as a new look for the site. More than just a number, the site now provides detailed information about what posts got you to the score you have, taking into account not only what you do online, but your offline influence as well.
