The Kardashian-Jenner family has mastered the art of the magazine photoshoot to signify major life changes.
Caitlyn introduced herself to the world on the cover of Vanity Fair, Khloe re-branded as the fitness Kardashian on the cover of Complex and Kylie's disturbing Galore shoot celebrated her freshly-legal status.
Now it's Kourtney's turn. Vanity Fair shared a stunning nude image of Kourtney shot by Brian Bowen Smith and printed on metallic paper as part of his Metallic Life series.

Kourtney generally shies away from the spotlight -- as much as you can as a Kardashian woman -- and this is her first solo photoshoot since her split from longtime boyfriend Scott Disick, who is the father of her children.

Smith told Vanity Fair that the printing method enhances the “tantalizing textures of skin" to help capture the vulnerability of his subjects.
If you'd like to check it out in person, the images from the series will be on display in the De Re Gallery in Los Angeles from Oct. 22 to Nov. 19. You can view more on the Vanity Fair website.
