Kris Humphries has apologized for his "vague" tweet about Bruce Jenner, after it attracted the ire of many online.
Humphries, Washington Wizards forward and ex-husband of Kim Kardashian, was widely criticized for a tweet he published Saturday that some saw as a negative reference to Jenner's transition to a woman. In an interview by Diane Sawyer, which aired Friday night, Jenner discussed being transgender.
Man, I'm glad I got out when I did. #Gottadoyou— Kris Humphries (@KrisHumphries) April 25, 2015
In response, angry Twitter users called out Humphries for being insensitive.
@KrisHumphries too bad your opinion doesn't matter because you're an irrelevant jerk— jack (@YELICHCLUB) April 25, 2015

Later on Saturday, Humphries backtracked on his original tweet, saying it was "too vague," and that he didn't mean to criticize Jenner.
I have and always will support Bruce hence #Gottadoyou. Now recognize I was too vague and sincerely apologize for the way this came across.— Kris Humphries (@KrisHumphries) April 25, 2015

However, some felt Humphries only apologized after receiving flak on social media, and said he was not being genuine.
