Natalie Imbruglia's "Torn" is the perfect '90s song to wail into your mirror watching your own devastating facial contortions, so Kristen Schaal's making a shot-for-shot (kind of) recreation of the video is a perfect use of her flair for the dramatic.

The video is a project of JASH, a comedy collective started by Sarah Silverman, Michael Cera, Reggie Watts, Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim. The collective's $5K Video Series gives pairs upcoming musicians with comedians to make a $5,000 music video. In this case, Schaal and Californian singer-songwriter Mikal Cronin paid tribute to "Torn" for his 'Turn Around" music video.

Schaal's comedy partner Kurt Braunohler co-stars as Imbruglia's on-again-off-again love interest. The video also features a few other comedians and musicians that weren't part of the original, like Paul Scheer and Ty Segall, but it's most important to note that the Kool-Aid Man makes an appearance tearing through the walls of the apartment.

Here's the original music video by Natalie Imbruglia, for reference.
