When a 4.4 magnitude earthquake struck Los Angeles on Monday morning, it was timed perfectly for the morning shows. Striking at 6:26 a.m. local time with an epicenter just a few miles northwest of Westwood, Calif., the quake caused mild to moderate shaking in parts of the city.

On KTLA-TV, a local news station in L.A., the morning anchors were jolted in the middle of their broadcast and ducked under their desks. One of the anchors, in fact, appeared reluctant to come back out and continue the news segment.

Luckily, there have not been any reports of damage or injuries from the quake, and no reports of significant power outages or other utility disruptions.
