1. Lady Gaga Releases Art for "Applause" Single
Lady Gaga's anticipated musical comeback gained steam Sunday as the 27-year-old pop star made several announcements on social media, including unveiling the artwork for her upcoming single "Applause."

Gaga will perform the single, which is available for purchase on iTunes starting Aug. 19, for the first time during MTV's Video Music Awards on Aug. 25. On Facebook, Gaga

2. Diane Lane to Play Hillary Clinton in NBC Miniseries
Academy Award-nominated actress Diane Lane, who most recently played Superman's adoptive mother in Man of Steel, will star as former first lady Hillary Clinton in a four-hour miniseries on NBC. It will tell the story of "Clinton’s life as a wife, politician and cabinet member from 1998 to present," NBC announced Saturday.
The miniseries reportedly will be released just ahead of the 2016 presidential election.
3. John Williams to Score New Star Wars Film
John Williams, who composed the Star Wars theme song and music for the film franchise's first six chapters, will return to score Star Wars: Episode VII, Lucasfilm confirmed.
"The galaxy far, far away, I actually feel like I'm still in it — I've never really left it," Williams said in the video above, which accompanied the announcement.
