How have Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris become pop culture's most Instagram-able (and richest) couple so quickly?

Dark Internet magic, of course. Swift tweeted this weekend that a tweet Lady Gaga sent her in March was actually love spell.

@alexandergold Go read Gaga's tweet that she sent me a few months ago. It's good love luck. Because it's not a tweet. It's a magical spell.— Taylor Swift (@taylorswift13) July 18, 2015

The original tweet-spell, which was sent in March, is obviously what brought Swift and Harris together.

@taylorswift13 wow you're a sweetheart! Life is friends, family, and love! We all see that in you, your prince charming will come! — Lady Gaga (@ladygaga) March 2, 2015

Lady Gaga has been toning down her antics recently, hanging up her meat costume to croon with Tony Bennett and, presumably, channel her power into helping fellow singing sensations form loving relationships.

She responded to Swift Saturday night, confirming her Twitter wizardry (Twizardry?).

.@taylorswift13 I only cast happy spells! Unless there's bad blood. I have a separate cauldron for that. Happy for u pic.twitter.com/SZNHZ1g1sK— Lady Gaga (@ladygaga) July 18, 2015

Harris gushed about Swift during an interview with KISS FM Friday, saying "it's going absolutely fantastic."

"It’s interesting, because obviously there’s different things written about it every day and even if we don’t do anything publicly for a while, someone will make something up," he said. "For me, it could be a lot worse, and I’d still be like insanely happy with her. So, I’m good with it.”

All hail Gaga.
