Schwarzenegger Returns as Action Star in 'Last Stand' [TRAILER]

No longer leading California as governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger has found time to re-assume his action star status on the big screen. His starring role in The Last Stand, which hits theaters Jan. 18, marks his first lead role since 2003's Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.

The new trailer above gives us a glimpse of Schwarzenegger as Ray Owens, a small town sheriff after having left his narcotics gig at the Los Angeles Police Department who must help the FBI capture a drug kingpin.

"Wow, you're looking jacked, Ray. Have you been working out?" funnyman Johnny Knoxville's character quips in the opening scene of the trailer.

The Last Stand also features Forest Whitaker, Eduardo Noriega, Rodrigo Santoro, Jaimie Alexander, Luis Guzmán, Peter Stormare, Zach Gilford and Genesis Rodriguez.
