LeBron James Defends Vanquished Foe on Twitter

The night his San Antonio Spurs lost the NBA Finals in seven games to the Miami Heat, surprise star Danny Green was photographed in a Miami nightclub hobnobbing with some of the Heat's biggest names.

Predictably, this did not go over well in the sports world's industrial bloviation complex. How dare Green go out with opponents the night of a tough loss? Didn't he care about what happened? What ever happened to morals?

But Green has at least one high profile defender in none other than Miami Heat superstar LeBron James, who took to Twitter on Sunday to defend Green and set the record straight:

Danny Green did not party with us on Thursday night. He came to say congrats and I told him how proud of him I was for taking advantage.....— LeBron James (@KingJames) June 23, 2013

full advantage of the opportunity he was giving and keep going. We dapped up, showed love and he left. #StopBelievingAllYouHear— LeBron James (@KingJames) June 23, 2013

Got it, world? Good. Now that that's settled, please return to your regularly scheduled programming.
