Fans can soon explore one of the darkest The Legend of Zelda chapters all over again.

Nintendo announced Thursday that an HD version Twilight Princess, first released in 2006 for the Wii and GameCube, will come to the Wii U in March.

Twilight Princess told the story of Link as he is cursed by shadowy monster Zant and transformed into a wolf. Although Link is eventually able to master his wolf form to solve puzzles, he has to help save the land of Hyrule from encroaching shadows. He also bonds with a mysterious imp Midna, who both chastises him and aides him on his quest.

Nintendo also announced Twilight Princess HD would be bundled with a Wolf Link amiibo, ridden by Midna.

While many fans were hoping for an update during Thursday's Nintendo presentation on a new Legend of Zelda title for Wii U, Nintendo only teased that the game was due out in 2016 -- and the Wolf Link amiibo would have some tie-in functionality.

The game and amiibo will both be on sale March 2, 2016.
