The National Museum of American History in Washington, D.C. is displaying a brand new American flag made entirely of bricks.

Lego bricks, that is.

July 1 marked the opening of the Innovation Wing in the museum, and in celebration, Lego master builders created the largest American flag ever built from bricks with assistance from museum visitors.

The flag measures 9.5 feet by 14 feet and weighs 560 pounds. It took 16 hours to design, 11 hours to build and 109,200 bricks to complete. And for those who want to check it out in person, it'll be on display through the end of the summer.
