Geron-Lego!

Danish brick giant Lego has announced that the company will be producing an official Doctor Who set. According to the agreement between the toy manufacturer and BBC Worldwide, fans will be building their favorite characters and sets by the end of 2015.

The concept behind this brilliant idea came from Who fan Andrew Clark, who submitted to the Lego Ideas website and received the 10,000 votes online from other Lego enthusiasts, the threshold required for the company to put the idea into production.

The company has yet to release any official conceptual artwork other than a hint -- a Peter Capaldi figure with glaring eyebrows. But rest assured, the set is guaranteed to have plenty of timey-wimey stuff to build.

"The final set designs, pricing and availability are being worked out as we speak, so watch this space for the final details," a spokesperson from Lego Ideas said.

In the mean time, Whovians can celebrate with a traditional dish of fish fingers and custard.
