Forget cartoons and dinosaurs -- a Golden Girls Lego set is what we really want.
An enterprising Lego fan is attempting to give the people what they want with a Lego Ideas submission that reimagines the Florida pad from the 1980s sitcom in brick form.
Dorothy, Rose, Blanche and Sophia are all here, as are their pink couches and their endless supply of cheesecakes. Even Dorothy's deadbeat ex-husband Stanley is included.
Lego Ideas is a platform where fans can submit their ideas for sets, with the chance that Lego may actually produce their projects.
For a submission to reach the official Lego review board, it must receive at least 10,000 votes from supporters who want to see the set in production. The review board then looks through submissions and either accepts or rejects proposals. If the set is approved, it is mass produced and the creator receives royalties on sales.
At the time of writing, lostsleep's submission had nearly 7,000 votes and counting, with 343 days left for voting. We can only hope we'll all be building little brick cheesecakes sometime in the near future.
