Windmill strums. Arrhythmic writhing. Smashed (plastic) guitars. These are not the recipe for high scores in Guitar Hero Live. But when you're Lenny Kravitz and James Franco appearing together in an ad for the upcoming game, the extreme theatrics make a little more sense.

The latest trailer for Guitar Hero Live shows off the game's first-person, live-action take on the virtual band experience. The play is similar to what you remember, but there's a new button layout on the guitar and you'll see everything through the eyes of your would-be rock star -- complete with live video of a crowd that reacts according to how you play.

You get all of that plus a reference to the time Kravitz's "Little Lenny" peeked out to say hello to the world. It happens quickly (just like it did in August), so listen carefully.
