You remember the feeling. You're in eighth grade, it's 2:55 p.m., and all you want to do is catch the bus home, grab a Capri Sun and play Mario Kart all evening. But while you were daydreaming of pizza bagels and your middle school crush, a teacher was standing at the blackboard, working hard to make sure every student in your class met his or her potential.
Getting through to students isn’t always easy, but these teachers seem to have it all figured out. From basic life lessons, like the importance of stepping out of comfort zones, to quirkier ones, like ways to cover up a naughty doodle, there’s something useful for everyone.
As summertime rapidly approaches, take a moment to reflect on what you’ve learned this year. And while you’re at it, take a note from these awesome teachers.
