Coffee Machine Creates Latte Art of Your Face

Printing technology has made tremendous strides in the past few years, and it's beginning to seem like anyone can make anything if the right tools are available.

Take Lets Caffe, for instance -- a Taiwanese coffee chain that serves lattes with photos of customers' faces printed directly onto their latte foam. Customers submit photos of themselves, which are placed into the coffee machine. The coffeemaker reproduces the photo beautifully with either coffee or cocoa powder, depending on what kind of drink the customer orders. Lets Caffe introduced this innovative coffee printer in a bid to sway customers from patronizing big chain coffee houses.

Some might think the idea is narcissistic, or feel a little uncomfortable with the idea of sipping their own visages, but the portraits are an undeniably creative twist on traditional latte art.
