LG Officially Announced the Optimus G

LG's upcoming Android-powered flagship smartphone, the Optimus G, is no secret -- it's been unveiled back in August. Now, however, the company has officially launched it, promising it'll go on sale in Korea next week, followed by "key global markets" in October.

As far as specifications go, it is one of the most powerful smartphones today, with a quad-core, 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, a 4.7 WXGA screen, 2GB of DDR RAM memory, a 13-megapixel shooter and LTE connectivity.

Motorola Launches RAZR i In the UK

Motorola has teamed up with Intel to launch the RAZR i, a powerful Android smartphone powered by Intel's new 2GHz chip. It also sports a 4.3-inch AMOLED display, an 8-megapixel camera and water-repellant Kevlar coating.

Microsoft Announces Office 2013 Pricing

Microsoft revealed the subscription model for its Office 2013: it'll cost $8.33 a month or $99.95 a year. The business-oriented Office 365 Small Business Premium costs $12.50 per month or $149.99 a year.
