A smaller, 5-inch version of LG's Optimus G Pro is now available in Japan, LG has announced.
Japan's Optimus G Pro is obviously not the same device as the 5.5-inch G Pro we've seen in Barcelona, which has so far only been available in Korea.
Other than the diminished screen size, however, it has nearly the same specifications: a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor, a 13-megapixel camera, 2GB of DDR RAM, and 32 GB of storage memory, expandable via microSD memory cards.
The size of the Japanese version is 139x70x9.9 mm, and it rocks a 3,000mAh battery -- not that far off from the 3,140mAh variant seen on the original model.
The LG Optimus G Pro is available now in Japan through NTT Docomo. A U.S. release date still hasn't been revealed.
