BERLIN — Sometimes, impressive tech specs on a TV aren't enough to impress your living room guests.
LG's new limited edition TV, which it unveiled at the IFA tech conference here, is your typical 55-inch curved OLED television -- but its stand is covered in 460 Aurora Borealis Swarovski crystals, resulting in an elegant yet not overtly ostentatious device.

The wow factor is upped by the device's ultra-thin profile; it's just 0.16 inch thick and weighs 35 pounds.
There aren't any Swarovski crystals on the actual TV -- only on its stand.

LG didn't announce pricing and availability in the United States, but the TV will be available this month in Germany for 4,000 euros. If that sounds expensive, remember: Money comes and goes, but crystal-encrusted TVs are forever!
