We can all learn something from Annika, whether it's the intricate and detailed strategies of capturing poultry or the more evergreen principles of life. This 3-year-old with a new YouTube how-to channel has an astute understanding of both, and though the more complex maxims of living are couched into this video, we definitely heard them loud and clear.
Take for instance, "sometimes [chickens] don't want to be held." This is obviously a euphemism for the hard lesson we all must learn: sometimes you can't hold onto loved ones no matter how much you want to.
And of course, "They won't bite you," is Annika simply trying to tell us that the only thing to fear is fear itself. "Don't get distracted" means keep your eyes on the prize.
