A shirt that could possibly save lives will be put to the test in an upcoming episode of All-American Makers, the Science Channel investment show about technology-inclined inventors looking for investment.

Per the show's rules, products are put through the ringer to determine if they live up to the hype. In this case, the Dust-T -- a flame-resistant t-shirt with a collar that doubles as a protective face mask -- is doused with lighter fluid and set aflame to see how it holds up against the heat.

The results are pretty impressive and, as host Brook Drumm points out, if this shirt holds up, it can have some huge life-saving potential if widely distributed to firemen and other types of active workers.

All-American Makers Season 2 premieres Nov. 4 at 10 p.m. ET.
