LinkedIn has analyzed the 135 million accounts on its network to reveal the top 10 most-overused buzzwords that people use on their professional profiles.

"Maybe during the last year some of our members scrubbed their profiles of buzzwords and more uniquely described themselves?" Simla Ceyhan, a data scientist at LinkedIn, wrote in a post on LinkedIn's official blog. "Or maybe there has been a huge growth in the number of ‘innovative, motivated, entrepreneurial team players who are results-oriented and thrive in fast-paced environments’"

There are a few surprises."Creative" and "effective" didn't even make the list last year, while "extensive experience" was number one. Other terms such as "results-oriented" and "team player" have dropped off.

That list, however, was based on LinkedIn's user base of 85 million at the time. A LinkedIn rep also says there have been some "minor tweaks' to LinkedIn's methodology for the list this year.
