Millions of Passwords Stolen From LinkedIn and eHarmony

After a hacker yesterday posted a list of 6.46 million hashed passwords from LinkedIn on a Russian forum, the company confirmed the security breach, instructing affected users to change their passwords.

The story does not end here, though, as the same hacker posted 1.5 million passwords from dating site eHarmony. We'll probably hear more about these security breaches, as some of the passwords are reportedly already used for phishing attacks.

Samsung Names New CEO

Samsung has named Kwon Oh-hyun, currently head of Samsung's components business, the new CEO of the company. He replaces Choi Gee-sung, which will now be the head of the Samsung Group Corporate Strategy Office.

HTC Shut Out of Next Windows Version [REPORT]

Microsoft locked out HTC from the development of products based on the newest version of Windows on concerns that HTC doesn't sell enough Windows-based devices, Bloomberg reports.

Microsoft did not confirm this report, with a spokesman merely stating that "HTC is a strong partner now and for the future."
