Little Karis Oglesby couldn't contain herself when she saw her solider dad standing in the homecoming lineup at a ceremony held Tuesday.

After eight months apart, she couldn't wait any longer to greet her father, Daniel Oglesby, a member of Fort Carson's 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division who just returned to Colorado Springs from southwest Asia, KKTV 11 reports. So mid-homecoming ceremony, she broke into a run and threw her arms around her dad before returning to her mother.
