LONDON -- Performing live on stage is nerve-wracking enough without having to contend with large, hair-bound flying insects.

Little Mix's Phoenix show was interrupted Sunday when an unidentified bug invaded the stage, soliciting screams from the four singers before deciding to set up shop in Jade Thirlwell's epic hair.

Cannot believe what just happened on stage..the biggest bug ever just burrowed itself into Jade's mane!! Leigh x pic.twitter.com/QVpUj3NjxH— Little Mix (@LittleMix) August 10, 2015

Despite the distraction, the group did an impressive job of keeping the performance going, even managing to improvise a few insect-themed lines at one point.

The bug made its entrance during the group's rendition of "How Ya Doin'?"

After buzzing around for awhile, it decided it liked the look of Jade Thirlwall's hair.

It's worth noting that Jade managed to keep singing while all this was going on.

Finally, the offending insect was forcibly removed from stage.
