As an 18-year-old applying to college, Goldman asked students across the country to send him emails explaining what their schools were really like. He turned the results into the best-selling Students' Guide to Colleges series of guidebooks, released in five annual editions from Penguin Books.

After graduating from college, Goldman founded Unigo, which The Wall Street Journal's Walt Mossberg called "a college resource built for the age of YouTube and Facebook."  Unigo receives more than a million unique visitors each month and features hundreds of thousands of college reviews, photos and videos.  The site also offers live one-on-one video sessions with more than 10,000 current students and more than 1,500 professional college counselors, including former admissions officers from Columbia, Brown, MIT, Stanford, NYU, Williams, Cornell and many more top schools.

Unigo provides college information to a variety of mainstream media brands, including USA Today, US News & World Report, The Wall Street Journal and The Huffington Post, and investors include McGraw-Hill Education. Goldman has been an education expert on more than 75 episodes of ABC News, was named one of Inc Magazine's 30 Under 30 Entrepreneurs and “One of the Top 100 Young Entrepreneurs in America” by the White House.

He studied English Literature at Wesleyan University and Oxford University and currently lives in New York City.
