It's not too early to start planning your Halloween costume and it's definitely not too early to write out a detailed schedule for yourself to make sure you see every haunting and horrifying thing you can. Work on your time management so you are sure to conduct ritual viewings of Nightmare on Elm Street, The Ring, The Omen and The Exorcism.

But if you're ready for the real thing, you have the first live televised exorcism in U.S. history to look forward to this year, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

But before you get too excited or throw your hat in the ring for a little demon vanquishing, they aren't actually exorcising a person, just a house. But in all fairness, they picked the best possible home of evil spirits -- the house in St. Louis that inspired the 1973 classic, The Exorcism.

The crack team of paranormal investigators -- which includes the Tennessee Wraith Chasers, the stars of Ghost Asylum and psychic medium Chip Coffey -- will look into the 1949 exorcism of Roland Doe and see what demons are still lurking.

Just check and make sure you can still see your TV if you're floating several feet above your bed before the show begins.
