If you consider the sheer volume of television news channels in existence today, you know you’re running a loser’s race if you even so much as attempt to consume it all. Wouldn’t it be a real time saver to have someone tell you what (of possible interest) is being broadcast? Enter, LiveNewsCameras.com.

Currently in beta - its creators, a group described by Brian Solis of PR 2.0 as “a team of journalists in Chicago,” which includes Andrew Finlayson, VP and News Director of Fox News Chicago, claim to be readying a new version for launch this week - LiveNewsCameras is a collection of dozens of live video streams gathered from national television networks like CBS, NBC, and FOX, as well as numerous smaller broadcasters, that have been brought together into a single location to be viewed on-demand. The channels are monitored by individuals, who present themselves at times through live streams via the Mogulus platform and guide viewers to breaking stories and programs. The monitors are displayed in a window alongside the main menu of options.
