This poor Los Angeles station was simply over having to follow Eastern Standard Time rules and ring in the new year three hours early. So KDOC decided they could one up Times Square with Jamie Kennedy and its own bash.
Except KDOC forgot to invite enough people to the party. And it forgot to hire staff to run the show. And instead, had what we can only believe are drunk interns from the sales department direct the show into a flurry of random cuts, dead air, misplaced commercials and Kennedy continuously asking if they were live yet.
Yes, Jamie-boy, you were on air for everyone to see.
And to top of the countdown, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony dropped enough F-bombs to scare Grandma into 2014.
That's what you get for trying to outshine Ryan Seacrest.
