LONDON -- Most people who live in England's capital will probably be quick to tell you how miserable everybody is all the time.

There's the grim morning commute, the grim weather, the constant undercurrent of rage lurking below the blank faces of workers grimly travelling to and from the city... but then again, us Brits are a pretty cynical bunch, aren't we?

Maybe we're too harsh on London.

A quick glance at a recent Quora thread, titled "What are some unique things that tourists notice when they travel to London?", would suggest not everyone shares the same grouchy outlook.

And that wasn't the only favourable tube observation, either.

Maybe things aren't quite so bad after all.
