It's been about a year since the whole selfie stick craze reached its tipping point, turning a small fad into a full-blown cultural phenomena. At first we pointed and laughed, and now we've accepted our fate. Will the sticks ever go away, or are they here to stay?

Well, selfie sticks will probably stay around until we all have our own drone hovering a few feet above our heads, ready to take the perfect selfie (or dronie) at any given moment. Until then, we can now hide our selfie sticks using this ridiculously long arm camouflage.

The invention, which was dreamed up by author Mansoon and featured on the website Omocoro, is the perfect way to hide that embarrassing selfie stick. Seriously, no one will even notice.

In a translated version of the website, Mansoon explains that selfie sticks are a bit embarrassing and ridiculous looking, so he bought two prop hands on Amazon and modified them to look like they're actually holding the phone.

Of course Mansoon then needed to modify his clothing in order to accommodate his new ridiculously long arms.

The inventor provided a pretty detailed explanation of his build with photos on Omoccoro, just in case you want to build your own.
