47 Million Americans Have LTE Subscriptions

The United States leads the rest of the world in LTE subscriptions. There are more than twice as many American LTE subscribers (47 million) than subscribers in either South Korea (20 million) or Japan (14 million).

However, when you compare the relative sizes of the populations of South Korea (50 million) and Japan (128 million) to that of the U.S. (314 million), South Korea has far more LTE subscribers per capita.
