Want to see how the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade comes together? Photographer and videographer Kevin Lu got exclusive access and he put together this fantastic video to show off the behind-the-scenes work that goes into the big event.
A lot of work goes into making the parade, well, the parade. Lu managed to capture many of the most intimate moments -- including the inflating of the famous parade balloons.
Lu has made a name for himself on Instagram (he's @sweatengine) and he shot the video on an iPhone 6S Plus using the native camera app.
Lu tells us that he shot the video in 120 fps slow-mo and in timelapse -- in addition to using traditional video.
Most of the video was done with an iPhone on a tripod but a few shots were done with the Moment wide-angle lens.
The song in the video is "Together Again" by Bryant Rosenwinkel. Lu was assisted by Danilo Lauria.
