That figure for Mad Men's finale, aired on cable channel AMC, pales in comparison to finales from ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars (804,000) and broadcast finales for FOX's American Idol (1.4 million), The X Factor (391,000), The Voice (370,000) and Glee (322,000). And Sunday's True Blood season five premiere broke a social TV record for premium cable with nearly 242,000 comments.
On social entertainment platform GetGlue, more than 17,000 checked in and primarily discussed the punch.
