Now, we all know Sterling Cooper had its share of financial ups and downs. But in general, the company invested in the cutting edge technology of the time. For instance, Peggy got to work with a typewriter "simple enough for a woman to use." And Don Draper's creative team used the latest 16 mm projector to showcase the opening sequence of Bye Bye Birdie.
