LONDON – Like many hashtags, #queenfacts started off with the best of intentions – as a way to honour the Queen's 63-year reign by gathering the people of Twitter to share interesting facts about her.
But, also like many hashtags, it wasn't long before it got taken over and morphed into something completely different. Now, people are channeling their imaginations to create made-up facts about the Queen, some of which are so ridiculous we sort of wish they were true...
