The OG Queen of Pop Madonna is currently in Manila, Philippines, for her two-night Rebel Heart Tour, but some aren't happy about it.

Filipino Lipa Archbishop Ramon Arguelles has recently joined a group of Asian church leaders in a bid to boycott the controversial singer's performances in the region.

According to the Philippine Daily Inquirer, Arguelles found the singer's lifestyle and fashion sense to be "suggestive" and "vulgar."

"Why is Catholic Philippines the favourite venue for blasphemy against the God and Holy Mother?" he said.

The archbishop also found the singer's stage name to be offensive. "It's not even her real name. She is just using (Madonna) to taunt Mother Mary," he added.

These comments follow a meeting that was held between Singapore's Law and Home Affairs Minister K Shanmugam and the country's Protestant church leaders on Tuesday. Madonna is set to perform in the island city on Feb. 28 for the first time since her tour was banned there in 1993. Her Singapore tour has been stamped with a R18 rating and "sexual references" advisory by Singapore's Media Development Authority.

During the meeting, concerns were raised by the religious leaders that Madonna's song lyrics and stage antics would offend Christians, reported Channel News Asia.

Despite the flak she's been copping, Madonna has gone ahead to perform her sold-out tours in Asia. According to reports, the "Material Girl" singer arrived in the capital city of Philippines days ahead of her performance at Manila's Mall of Asia Arena on Feb. 24 and Feb. 25.

Pictures on Madonna's Instagram showed her making surprise visits to Manila shelters to hang out with the orphans and street children.
